Speaking of receipt paper, and apart from being an excellent medium on which to scribble, it brings me to my godforsaken job, which at the moment steals every hour from my week like a chav stealing bikes. Don't get me wrong, working at a train station serving pasties to everyone at all hours does have its benefits (if you know of any please send your answers and hints on a postcard immediately to the usual address) but I would rather be finishing the 1st draft of the Written.
It is going well though, onto page 45 as we speak, so it shouldn't be too long. I get a few days off soon so bang, there we go, writing days pencilled in.
Deadlight, meanwhile, my band if you weren't aware, are touring a few secondary schools in the Birmingham area in late Feb, see the myspace (myspace.com/deadlightofficial) for details, so if you are a child, or perhaps the owner of a school, or yes, a teacher, you too, you might see us very soon.
So stick around, a draft of 'We All Fall Down' will hopefully scrabble its way onto the blog, and then you can enjoy it, or hate it, your choice (answers on a postcard people!)
And don't forget, I'm on the lovely world of Twitter, just search for BenGalley, every new follower will receive a free kitten. (Kittens may or may not be visible or tangible in any way, but will still be sent to you via email)
Love you all
Ben x
